Booking FAQs

How do I book an appointment?

1

New clients can call 716-800-1206 or fill out the appointment request form on the website. Nicole may follow up with a brief call or text to confirm your needs and get a card on file before your visit. Returning clients can call, text, or book directly online through the scheduling system.

Do I need a card on file to book?

2

Yes. All new clients are required to have a card on file at the time of booking. It is used only in the event of a late cancellation or no-show per the cancellation policy.

Can I book online?

3

Yes. Online booking through Acuity Scheduling is available for returning clients. New clients are asked to call or submit the intake form first so Nicole can gather a brief history before your first session. Once you have been seen, online booking is available to you at any time.

What should I include when I request an appointment?

4

Please describe the reason you are coming in as specifically as possible. For example: post-op lymphatic drainage following a BBL, chronic lower back tension, prenatal massage at 28 weeks, or general relaxation. The more detail you provide, the better Nicole can prepare. She may reach out before your appointment for clarification and will ask your preferred contact method.

Can I book for a date before May 5?

5

Flutter & Flow is transitioning to a new location and will begin seeing clients at 5334 Transit Rd, Depew NY on May 5, 2026. Online booking availability opens on that date. For questions before then, please call or use the contact form.

Services & Sessions FAQs

What is the difference between therapeutic massage and deep tissue massage?

1

Therapeutic massage is goal-focused work designed to address a specific outcome, such as reducing neck and shoulder tension, improving range of motion after an injury, or relieving lower back pain. Pressure varies based on what your body needs. Deep tissue massage specifically applies sustained, firm pressure to reach deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Not every therapeutic massage is deep tissue, and not every client needs it. Nicole will discuss what is appropriate during your intake.

Can I ask for a different pressure during my session?

2

Absolutely, and Nicole encourages it. Pressure preference is personal and can change session to session. If something feels too intense, too light, or just not right, say something in the moment. Nicole checks in throughout, but you should always feel comfortable speaking up. It is your session.

What does a session include? Is it customized?

3

Every session is customized. There is no fixed script. Nicole assesses your gait and physical state as you arrive, asks what is going on, and builds the session from there. A 60-minute session might focus entirely on one area, or cover the full body, depending on what you need that day.

What are the All-Inclusive Sessions?

4

The All-Inclusive Sessions are Flutter & Flow's signature offering, available in 90-minute and 2-hour formats. These sessions include unlimited upgrades of your choice, and gratuity is built into the price. All selections must be made at booking. If you want the full experience without thinking about add-ons or tipping, this is the option for you.

Do you offer cupping therapy?

5

Yes. Cupping is one of the available add-on upgrades that can be included in your session.

Do you offer prenatal massage?

6

Yes. Nicole has extensive experience working with clients through pregnancy, including all three trimesters. Prenatal massage helps manage the aches and physical discomforts that come with carrying a baby. Please note your pregnancy in your appointment request.

Lymphatic Drainage FAQs

What is manual lymphatic drainage massage?

1

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialized massage technique that stimulates the lymphatic system to reduce swelling, support immune function, and help the body clear waste and excess fluid. It uses light, rhythmic hand movements only — no tools or equipment. Nicole has over eight years of experience in lymphatic massage and holds a professional certification in the technique.

Who is lymphatic drainage massage for?

2

Lymphatic massage is beneficial for a wide range of clients. Nicole commonly works with clients recovering from cosmetic surgery (such as liposuction, BBLs, and tummy tucks), those managing lymphedema or lipoedema, and clients dealing with systemic illness including cancer treatment and recovery. It is also beneficial for general immune support and reducing fluid retention.

How soon after surgery can I start lymphatic drainage?

3

Post-surgical lymphatic drainage can typically begin as soon as 24 hours after the procedure, depending on the surgery and your surgeon's guidance. Sessions are usually scheduled one to two times per week in the early recovery phase. If you are unsure whether you are ready to begin, call Nicole before booking and she can help you figure out the right timing.

Does lymphatic drainage hurt?

4

No. Lymphatic drainage is one of the gentler massage techniques. It uses light pressure and slow, rhythmic movements rather than the deep pressure of therapeutic or deep tissue work. For post-surgical clients who are swollen or tender, pressure is always adjusted to your comfort and healing stage.

Is lymphatic massage available for clients with cancer or lymphedema?

5

Yes. Nicole offers lymphatic massage for clients currently managing or recovering from cancer, as well as those with lymphedema or lipoedema. These sessions are paced and adapted specifically for your condition. If you are navigating active treatment, please call before booking so Nicole can discuss your current status and ensure the session is appropriate.
